The farm
Loma Verde lies in the foothills of the Sierra de Grazalema. It was formed by joining two olive groves that straddle the municipalities of Algodonales and El Gastor. It takes its name from the hill (loma) it sits on, which its vegetation keeps green for most of the year.
Inside the farm there is a park of a hectare and a half where the capons and poulards roam freely, enclosed by a perimeter fence that protects them from predators. Inside it stand two sheds with side doors that open at dawn and close again once night has fallen.
From the top of the farm you can see, by day, Olvera, El Gastor, the Sierra del Pinar (a Biosphere Reserve) and the Sierra de Líjar, where paragliders take off. At night the stars and the Milky Way are the farm's best guardians: not for nothing does the Sierra de Cádiz hold Starlight Certification.
And you can visit it whenever you like!
